  1. I google'd some of the numbers on the unit and I believe it is a tracking device. The FM amplifier is the small bright blue box which connects to the window. Anybody know where the amp for the subwoofer is?
  2. While i was looking at the subs in my range rover, i have found this box and wonder what it is. i can see that it has been put in after, as it was attached with self tapping screws. i took it off the bracket, and found that it is 2 boxes, one which is metal and the other which is plastic and holds a battery. Both boxes are connected together by thin wires. and i think some of the wires go to the left rear light. i think this maybe a tracker? what do you think? Paul In Situ- Metal Box - Battery Box -
  3. I recently bought a 2000 (w) reg range rover vogue, and while i am happy with it, Im not estatic about the Harmon Kardon sound system. i know this setup was not made for me playing my bass'y tunes, but i would love to upgrade the subs. anyone have any information about this? the Harmon Kardon ones just dont kick enough! can i just replace the 2 X 6.5" subwoofers? what is the standard amp rated at? would it be a better idea to take the box out and fabricate my own (height X Depth X length 10 X 7 X 16 inches)? ive done a search but couldnt find much all help is appreciated Paul Standard -
