Hello. I tried to post this in the technical area but it would not allow me to start a new topic. Just a quick question. Does anyone know the spline count(steering shaft connection stubb)of a 1996 Range Rover P38 steering box. Part number ANR3241 (LHD but should be the same spline as ANR3242 RHD)up to VIN VA375483. I dont have the box yet, just pictures. Hard to count the splines. Need to order some custom u-joints. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Google has led nowhere. Cheers.

I wasnt trying to be an arse. No where did it say to click on anything. Anyone at first glance sees that it looks like he was being a smart arse and wanting me to count "all" the threads on the pic. Sorry, thats the way I took it. I do apologize. I mean, if it was as easy as just typing..."The tread count is, 16 threads per inch" or whatever, I thought that was what should happen. Not getting links to other pages. Again, sorry to offend.

Thanks for the feeble attempt at help. But I guess you don't understand how thread count works...if you had stuck it over a ruler and then took the photo it would have worked. If I had one on hand I would just count it myself, but I am on vacation and not at the shop. Can anyone else help?

Hello..Does anyone know the thread size and count of the ball joints for the tie rod and drag link? I think the size is 5/8 but not sure of the thread count. I am ordering threaded weld in bungs for custom links and need the sizes. The drag link and tie rod uses the same joints correct? If not need those sizes as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

OK so the axles spline count is different. I will get specific about what I need to do. I have a LHD swivel housing (LHD so steering arm is on passenger side) from a 96 disco from the states. I am converting a LR lightweight to LHD with disco or RRC axles if I can put this swivel housing on them (I know it will fit a 96 disco, but I am eying some RRC's for a good price) . So my question is will this 96 disco swivel housing fit a 89 RRC axle? Damn, is that confusing enough? My head is spinning.

Thank you so much....I think I might have tracked down a steering knuckle from the states. Question....All Disco's in the states were v-8's right...Will that matter being mine is a 200 tdi? Were the axles the same? I finally got Microcat downloaded but still learning how to use. Don't think it covers yankee disco's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Hello. Could anyone tell me the part number for a steering housing swivel for a 94 Disco. Left hand drive. That would put the steering arm on the passenger side. I have looked for 4 days....EVERYWHERE. All the housings I find are only for a RHD. I have checked all stateside as well. Without a part number I am at a dead end. Cheers.
