no not been wading if fan has seized would it mean removing dash

i have had a look today stripped the switch out it had melt marks on 2 terminals i trust this is the problem but would it be faulty switch caused the melted wires or somthing else

got a 91 disco 200tdi heater wont work does anyone know why i had it working then it just stopped there was a smell of burning but dont know if it was heater it looks fine just wont work know
