ar e there any good upgrades out there ive upgraded to hydroboost brake booster which runs off the powersteering pump
but im wondering if there are any disc brake upgrades etc

It is a BOGE self leveling unit. You can get them rebuilt, but it is a very specialised job and you may find it difficult to locate someone that does them
so probably better off taking it off and throwing it out

i need to get my rear centre strut/stabiliser rebuilt or replaced whats the proper name for it and who can i try and find one through

Well it was out of my old mans 110 it was fine in that but that got stolen and burnt but this transfer has been sitting for ten years now with out being moved i only put an lt230 behind the tf auto because the schuler voith viscous transfers chains snapped and that was a bit of a mission to change the first transfer i got was a 1.003:1 it was well warn and too high geared it jumped out but only after being in low it was noisy and had slop in it too but this 1.41 is good other than it jumps out you can drive it round for two days and then it will do it some times i have to hold the lever back to keep it in i took the linkage off and engaged it at the selector and it still jumped out

On the weekend i snapped the spider hear pin in the rear diff when climbing a steep hill in low it broke in three bits and the gears dropped out the centre never had a lot of free play anyone seen this before

ive been looking on the net and i find alot of the suspension kits u could get like gone to far and scorpion racing are all gone broke
theres maxtraction and equipe 4x4 but none seem as good as gon2far

i was thinking of putting a shortend 110 chassis under my range rover the rails are stronger and would give body lift as a bonus the tail behind the wheels is shorter though

heres my one its a 83 schuler conversion the tansfer snapped the two chains so now its got a lt230
its been ten foot under water which is a long story i put 31's on it and lancruiser 80 series two inch raised front shocks in the front to get the full travel out of my front springs
has 45mm spring spacers all round and already had rear spring locators when i got it

i have a ex 83 schuler range rover i had a pair of chains break in the schuler case which are imposible to find
so i went through changing the transfer to a std lt230 auto case which is 1.003 ratio the old one was 1.192 and was viscous
now i finally gotten sick of how much more gutless it is so i put in one out of a 110 which is 1.410 and i found the differances
were the difflock arm on the transfer was shorter the selector linkages were differant and the actual high low selector is
differant even internally and i noticed when i had to take it apart that the center diff carrier was alot stronger in apperance
it will mean that il be doing 3600rpm at 110kph with 31's the old setup with the schuler did 3500 with 225/75r16s
the other option was to put s2a rover diffs in which i have here but desided not to becuase they need shiming
i heard some of these lt230s came std with lsd centers in the early ones

My ones an 83 always had poor brakes want to upgrade a bit mainly because i put a chrysler big block with a 727 auto and lt 230t and ive got 110 county difs for it
