  1. Evening all

As usual I’m after some help / advice

    – After spend loads of time sorting the Pto Superwinch 525, is near ready to be fitted (only one UJ to be bought), but before that I need to re-bush all the car, change rear shock, so I’m in need of some advice in what to use.

    – Should I upgrade the front suspension? After the extra weight. If so with what?

My next buy will be a roof rack – to be used when camping

My idea of off road is some type of green lane, nothing to hard, I use it every day to commute to work 15m/day, and at weekends mostly motorway to rescue dogs

Thanks in advance for any advice

  2. The Lord made-eth the 80, 86, 107, 88, and 109, and on the 6th day he rested (to sooth his sore bum from the leaf springs. On the 7th day he made the 90 and his bum was happy. But Mrs God was not best pleased "how shalt we cart the shopping around with all the desciples in the 90? verliy thy must try again and make summat else". So the Lord came up with the 110 - to cart his portly self around, the Mrs, the desciples, the shopping, and the occasional trip to the tip.

Jesus and Mary borrowing it on the odd weekend to go crashing around in the garden of eden - to pinch apples and run over snakes.

    Les :)

And after all is hard work, Mrs God rescue 2 Japanese Akitas and He ask Foley's to Make a 130 SW :P:P:P Because He couldn’t be asked :D:D:D

  3. Advice needed

Just find out the my “green shed” needs new bushes full set, before I put the winch

My question is what type I should put,

    original

    after market

    polibushes red,blue etc

I use my 130 everyday to commute to work 6 miles each way and for some green lane nothing to hard

What are your advice and place to buy?

  4. Manage to separate the drum from the shaft with a hydraulic puller (fantastic piece of kit) that I already put on my list of tools to buy

After a good clean and some sand paper the drum rolls as it should.

Now I have a question should I put any kind of grease like copper grease between the shaft and drum or something like I already read somewhere on the forum the "one-shot "

Superwinch have send a manual for my Winch and PTO, could someone from admin add this on

    http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=16479

  6. The situation is I can't make the connection,

Do you think I need to find someone with a press machine and have the drum removed from the shaft?

Or assembly the winch and try to release the drum when making the test?

Sorry be so upsetting but I don’t want make any mistakes / damage

    Thanks in advance

If not how can I engage the Winch?

  9. Hi all

I'm a newbie, so please go easy with me

I’m the proud owner of a 130 Station Wagon with a 300tdi engine transformed by Foley’s, I’m asking for some information regarding a PTO Winch, does anyone have one for sale or know here I can find one?

Have saw a few on Ebay but they are or for series or TD5, I have been told the TD5 don’t fit because of the different gear box location, can someone please let me know if is possible fir one from a series?

Thanks in advance for any advise.
