I am driving a 300tdi, 1998 Rioja red 3-doors and my lovely wife a 200tdi 1992 5-doors in carrigada green, we live in Antwerp Belgium and we are landy fans.
I hope someone is willing to help me with a few questions about subject
I managed to obtain a retrofit airco kit for my disco 300tdi (1998)
but I have a few questions about it.
firstly the evaporator (the heating-cooling box inside) was transformed for a RHD because someone had made some changes and I did not see this right away
they closed the right air inlet (for the blower and cut the left one open, also the electrics where changed from right to the left side.
I might say I am now a qualified dashboard remover :rolleyes:
Here come's the quizz
It appears that the fan's (from the receiver-drier in front of the radiator) keeps on running the whole time.....IS THIS NORMAL ?
What are the 2 temp sensors for (in the elbow of the Thermostat) ?
I feel the car's holding in when the airco switches on, IS THIS NORMAL ?
How can I check if there is enough oil in the compressor and how do I have to fill it ?
And very inportant: It smells like whet feet when the blower is switched on, how can i deal with this ?
