Hello LR4x4 Peeps, new to the boards as I'm thinking about dipping my toe into Landy ownership.
I'm hoping someone can give me some answer to a few question and any other pointers on the subject of Freelander 2's
Bit of background 1st, I currently have a 59 plate Civic Type R GT and while it is great fun its causing me a lot of problems to. I have unfortunatly damaged a disc in my back which can only be repaired with removal and the vertibrea fusing together, needless to say the low down bucket seat and total lack of suspension (well thats what it feels like) is no longer looking like such a good idea.
Anyway enough of the sob story, I'm thinking of trading it in for a Freelander 2 'cos I suspect it'll be a damn sight more forgiving. I've driven a Disco 3 but not yet the Freelander.
I want something as new as possible but my budget for now is limited to about 18k is this realistic ?
What is reliability like, I've hard some mixed reveiws?
I'm sure I've forgotten to ask something, I usually have a list of stuff running through my head then forget most of it when I post also sorry for the wall of text
