  1. well had another go and plenty of oil and backwards and forward however th bolt just seems to get tighter its really strange so guess its the garage as have no oxy or air tools. still part of the joy of having a rangie i guess i mean where else do you get the chance to learn how to weld remove rusty well stuck on bits of car and get hated by all the green crowd so not all bad then :-)
  2. thank you for the advice going to keep spraying it with oil for the next few days then have another go sadly not got oxy other wise would have probally tried that but know you have to be careful as there are rubber seals behind the bolt i let you know how i get on
  3. hi looking for any help / advice got a 300 tdi (in a rangie) and need to replace the crank pully followed advice on here on how to get the bolt undone and it has freed it off so it turns for a bit then just jams up and will not move at all (had a 4ft bar on it) has any one else had this issue? and if so how did you get around it? at the moment i have removed the starter motor so i can jam the flywheel however the bolt is not turning really need to get this off as want to use the rangie. oh it s a range rover 300 tdi auto and factory fitted if that makes any diffrence cheers
