  1. AFAIK, Land Rover doesn't publish any curves. The most recent one I've seen is for the 1,6 S1 engine. But then, I haven't seen it all (yet).:)

  2. hi,

i have just put in a newly restored 2.5 na diesel. it runs great, have a lot of power, is verry quiet and dont smoke. but, it does not run well under 1100rpm, it misfires and the rpm goes somewhat up and down. it does not always reduses the rpm when i let the trottle up (not the cables, the little rod on the pump is where it should be), i have to put it in gear with handbreak on and slowly lift up the clutch to lower the rpm. it does run on 600rpm when warm, but just barely. it stood for 1-2 years before put in car. the engine has run about 150 miles.

where shall i start to look?????

  3. hi,

have found out that it is the latch valve. but i am unsurtain of the plastic nut at the end. it sits loose at on the bolt.

it may have been damaged during transportation of engine, as the paint had chipped off at this place, so i would like to know more about what the plastic nut actually do.
