Could the whole mechanism be shielded to stop any access to the release arm?

maybe the courts should give longer harsher sentences to those who nick vehicles or chop their theiving hands off.
Neither likely with this goventment doing its best to keep everyone but the worst out of prison. "Community sentences you know it makes sense"

Do not use DOT5 with DOT4 they do not mix and will damage the seals unless the system is completely flushed clean of 4.

Cat A is the worst of the four, where a vehicle is so damaged that it cannot even be used for salvage and should be crushed.
Cats B and C mean that the vehicle has been heavily damaged and the insurance company has chosen not to go ahead with the repairs. Cat C cars are usually capable of being salvaged if the repairs are carried out correctly.
Cat D is the least serious category. It usually means that the vehicle has suffered light damage but the insurance company's decision to repair it is dependent on the cost of the repairs and the value of the vehicle.
If you're buying a Cat D car, there's no guarantee that it hasn't incurred chassis damage. You can find out for sure by investing in a full mechanical inspection at an approved dealership, or by RAC Inspections.
If you buy a Cat D car, make sure your insurance company knows about it, otherwise they might not pay up on any claim.

Went both days (close enough to be able to travel from home) and enjoyed looking at the vehicles on show, monster trucks were great bits of engineering. Spent money on a winch (ouch), and a pair of X-Trouser fittings and went on the 4x4 course as a passenger absolutely loved it and can't wait to have a go myself.

People have been known to use cherry bomb silencers such as these http://www.custom-chrome.co.uk/shop/catalog/index.php?cPath=1

I have a vdo temp gauge and sender and they work fine. I do not wish to insult you but are you sure there are no air locks in the system at all?

J2J
Many thanks.
-
What rail is that?
I can give you from bulkhead if you wish?
Bulkhead would be great, thanks
-
JTJ,
How far from the back of the rail did you fit the bottom strut?

If you look in the back right hand side there is a metal cover remove that you will see a bundle of wires some of which are black. Make up a length of new wire stick one end in the bundle and place the other end on clean metal. Switch your indicator on and with luck they will work as they should. If not keep moving the free end of the cable around until you get a good contact.

Rear offside earth is the problem. Use a spare length of wire and make a new earth to the black bundle. Problem solved it cured my rear indicator problems.
