No one knows the tread?

It is a 3,5 in a land rover 110 from 85, i have tried a lot of different sizes fittings, but i just can´t find the right one. I think it is some sort of 3/8", but is not npt ( to big), it ain´t withworth 55 ( but screws in but is loose),. My problem is that i have some new instruments, but the sensors are 1/8 npt.

Hi does anybody know which size thread the temp sensor is

I have have a 110 v8 from 85, which i am going to upgrade a little bit. I have bought a discovery 1 3,9 from 99, and a megasquirt 1extra computer. I have a few problems that i hope you guys can help with. 1: the discovery seems to lose some water, when i fill the black pressure box, and drive about 1 hour, it is almost empty. The car don´t smoke, it don´t bobble in the cooler, and there is no mayo in the engine. and there is no water under the car? the former owner did put a brand new radiator on the car. 2: is it low or high impedance injectors ? 3: is the oil cooler needed? 4: I am going to use a bosch idle valve, what do you guys do with the stepper motor? regards Leif
