    Series diff

Hi gazzar That's brilliant thanks very much for your help. I've seen a series diff on eBay for £15.00, it's not too far away from me so will give that a go. The landys got a fairy overdrive fitted so there's no need for the high gearing as far as I can see. Would be good to have 4x4 for winter! Thanks again for the advice.. Tim

    Series diff

Hi I have a series 3 Swb that seems to have a higher ratio diff in the rear axle compared to the front! I bought the Landy to fix up and obviously didn't realise this at the time! It's always seemed high geared for a series. My dad drove it round a friends wet field a couple of days back and you could clearly see the rear wheels going faster than the front. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks Tim
