  1. The buttons on my Disco 2 key recently gave up and dropped out. I was quoted nearly £200 for a replacement by local main stealer. A hunt on ebay led to a company in Australia who supply replacement silicone buttons to fitin original casing. At about £27 I was cautious but ordered one. Brilliant, a week later it arrived. It took about 10mins to fix following the excellent instructions. Type 'Land Rover Discovery 2 Td5 Remote Key Button Repair Pad' into ebay search.
  2. Hi I've Freelander Sport with 4 sensors on rear bumper and fixed tow bar. Not a problem.
  3. Hi Everyone Looking for a copy of the fitting instructions for the official 12s wiring kit (STC50460).I've obtained a kit but the instructions are unreadable. Thanks
  4. Hi all Problem solved! Spacer under crank sensoe! Thanks to all Iain
  5. Hi Thanks for info. Hope to sort this weekend. Love the dog!
  6. Hi I've tried two sensors and both gave the high speed crank fault. Fault appears around 2750 revs when engine stops and check engine light comes on. Also injectors vary between -5 and +32(NO 4 Injector) on the Rovacom Iain
  7. Hi Got all of mine from WWW.lrdirect.com Beware they are not cheap! Good luck Iain
  8. Hi everyone. Finnally got the td5 running again after a fraught period of not starting. It turned aout to be dodgy Britpart fuel pump! In the diagnosis I changed the crank position sensor and all appered to go well. No shim so no shim replaced. On the Rovacom I'm getting: Fault 15-2 High speed crank (logged) Fault 19-4 Noisy crank signal (current) just occasionally. I clear the faults and engine starts, ticks over fine, no faults. When I try to rev the engine it sounds like a bag of hammers and stops. Have I missed a vital bit when swapping the sensor? or is it likely to be anything else before I delve under the Disco to change the sensor again. Thanks to you all in anticipation Iain
  9. Yes, I'm finding the undertray a real pain as I've got asteering gaurd. Has yours been ok minus this dirt, oil and watertrap?
  10. Just picked up your reply as I'm just back from A&E having ordered said part! You've put a bit of a smile on my face nowing it can be done. Thanks.
  11. Hi Has anyone changed the steel water rail assembly. Is it possible without stripping out the radiator, intercooler etc? Can it be done from underneath? Thanks
