Hi everyone.
Finnally got the td5 running again after a fraught period of not starting. It turned aout to be dodgy Britpart fuel pump!
In the diagnosis I changed the crank position sensor and all appered to go well. No shim so no shim replaced.
On the Rovacom I'm getting:
Fault 15-2 High speed crank (logged)
Fault 19-4 Noisy crank signal (current) just occasionally.
I clear the faults and engine starts, ticks over fine, no faults.
When I try to rev the engine it sounds like a bag of hammers and stops.
Have I missed a vital bit when swapping the sensor? or is it likely to be anything else before I delve under the Disco to change the sensor again.
