Hi Phil, i'm no expert by any means but it might be a core plug weeping maybe during the very cold snap we had, is your coolant up to strengh?

Hi all,

just been given an older cd/radio player with multi block connectors and 2 dozens wires for christ knows what! the radio cassette on my 1989 "90" only has one small connector block with 4 or so wires in it,do you think its possible to wire the cd/radio with so few wires and make it work, is that a daft question ?

Hi, just reading your topic with interest, i have mounted my spare on the bonnet of my 90 only cos the mounts were already there, its a 235/70/16 so quite heavy but does'nt obstruct my view, my only problem is it takes two people to open the bonnet, one pulling the release handle and one up front to make the bonnet release.

is this normal for for this kind of mount? cheers.

I fitted my new halogen headlights today and got busy with the WD40 then went to tackle the slow wipers on my 1989 90, but where is the motor etc hidden ? is it a big job to get to it.

the headlights on my 1989 90 are to say the least dull! so the wife bless her has bought me a pair of halogen units to replace them, is there anything i should know before i tackle this one.

i have noticed during this cold spell my windscreen wipers are painfully slow even on "fast speed" should i be worried ?

i have recently bought a 1989 LR 90 with a 200TDI fitted, i love it to bits and its so nice to tinker with it without needing a degree in computer science!

Its not the end of the world but the fuel gauge shows half full or less when the tank is full, the gauge shows what it likes.

what do you think, gauge or sender?
