Can anyone advise me on th best type of grese gun or nipple to fit the prop shaft on my p38 range rover as the one i have will not fit between the u/j joints

I have a p38 4.0 litre range rover with a noisey rear alternator bearing.After replaceing the alternator with a new one,the bearing rattle returned after 2 days. Could the problem lie with a faulty auto adjuster or any other faulty item. Any ideas would be appreciated.
