  1. Hi everyone, Been trying to solve my problem today and yes the problem was a wire came lose from his connector!! Turned the key and my 300 TDI was running smoothly..Nice sound great! BUT! as soon as I turned the ignition switch of my engine kept on running the only way to stop her was to take of the 12 v from the seleniod stop start valve hmmm . while the engine was running I removed the battery connection + engine kept running took away the connection of my altenator engine kept running ??? Somebody had the same problem and knows the solution please let me know. Cheers Noudje
  2. Tommorow afternoon I got time to measure the elec. thanks I will have look at the ignition switch first. Noudje
  3. Thanks Maverick, When I say fuel pump relay I mean Fuel stop selenoid if I put straihgt 12 v on it the enging starts straight away. The thing I dont get is that everything was working fine and it seems like Due these lights keep on burning after removing the key a relay holds power or like you said maybe the ignition switch has got a problem due the selenoid has no 12v anymore (ignition switch is new) I do get power to the starter and it turns over. There is a white wire running from the ignition to a header from there it goes to my selenoid. white red is running from ignition to starter relay and glow plug timer this seems to work correctly all fuses been checked and are ok that means that or my ignition new one is to heaven and I dont understand why these light keep on burning after I removed the key does this mean that my resistor in my altenator is gone? What do you think? Regards Noudje
  4. Hi, I am new hear on the forum let me introduce myself my name is Noudje and from Holland (cloggy) I have bought myself 3 years ago a 110 V8 3.9L and started pretty quick with restauration/ conversion to 300tdi. My question: After rewirering with new wireringlooms couple a weeks ago everything worked fine turned the key and the engine was running al the lights worked i was going Yes!! this projects coming to an end... just the brakes and tata finihsed. But nope just came back working offshore and now I don't have any power to my fuelpomp (selenoid) after I have turned the key and take it out of the ingnition switch I have two lights burning on my dash battery and oil? after I remove the + battery cable from the battery and install it again the lights are out.Note the 110 was in a garage after I left everything worked correctly and evertyhing is connected according the wiringdiagram. Does have any one a answer to this mysteries power problem!!!? Thanks for your input Noudje
