Well i changed the lift pump and filter still no better
A Friend suggested the filter on the bottom of the pick up in the tank
So removed sender unit from tank today and there is no filter on the bottom
So poked a tie wrap down both tubes and the pick up one had something in it
So a little bit of poking with a long spring and hey presto a large lump of black plop fell out
Quick clean of the tube with some brake cleaner
Refit and test drive and it works

New one already fitted and new filter

this is my newest addition after my old range rover was committed to the off road asylum...
1984 two door, 3.9 V8, manual box, ecu relocated, electrickery waterproofed, standard suspension and 235/85 special tracks.
i have some new springs to try out some different combos this weekend then i will have another test and see what comes out of it. hopefully lift it a couple inches and give a bit more of a stiffer ride but not losing articulation.
I love two door Rangies
And yours looks very nice indeed
think i am going to have to buy one again
Anyone know where theres one for sale????

I was hoping these companys that made Galavanised chassis for Landys / Defenders etc also did one for RR or Disco, but it seems not, unless I'm looking in the wrong place. Why would Richards etc make em for 90s etc but not Rangies?
Edit: just found a place by searching around on the net
A frined of mine has a galv'd chassis for sale
Let me know if your interested
cheers

First do i fit an ARB Or Detroit locker
Now my problems start do i........................................
1:-fit a detroit 10spline locker but can not get uprated half shafts
2:- put 24 spline disco axles on and put detroit or arb in as you can get uprated 24 spline half shafts etc and uprate shafts etc as well
Need some help please

what will i need to change on my axles to convert them from 10 pline to 24 spline diffs?
I know i'll need to change the diffs, half shafts,CV's and hub flange thingies to 24 spline
But is it that simple or will it be easier to just buy a pair of 24 spline axles and change them over
The reason i want to change is i am going to buy an arb locker and you can not buy 10 spline uprated shafts
so need to change to 24 spline
all advice greatfully received
Cheers
