hope someone can help me today my x reg 90 there is a screeching noise from the car when in gear and only in gear this does not happen all the time, the other problem is the car starts to violently shake when over 50 does stop when stop acceleration, this only happens when in gear to. hope someone can help tony

just wondering if anyone can shad some light i have got a x reg defender 90 td5, the problem is/was that i had a miss fire when i had my foot down, one of the pulleys ceased up a while ago fixed that, then there was a annoying banging sound when i turned the car off and when running. got it checked out and it was the camshaft, now replaced the misfire has stopped. im trying to see if anyone can help me and explain why. thanks tony
