Hi guys I just had a con-rod go through my 300tdi Defender's block Few q's 1. would the head still be okay so I only have to fit a new sub assembly?? 2. If not, how much work and conversion is it to go for the TD5, and how much out of my Wallet?? 3. Or maybe just take the plunge and go for the TDV6, and how much out my Wallet?... And what the hell could have caused it, she was running smooth and perfect the whole time, not a problem whatsoever. Then on 80km/h bang and oil everwhere. I picked up the little pieces of Engine from the road. And half a gudgeon pin.

Those disco seats might just, work.. getting the baby seat in and the baby in the seat might pose a problem.... The seat tracking might actually just work.... Either way, the missus is pushing for a five door td5... So either I have to come up with a very viable solution or buy buy my beloved HT

Hi guys I'm looking at installing a rear seat to my 300 Tdi 110 HT. I have a little girl(3 years old) and a baby in the way. Don't want to sell the defender but need to install something that can take a baby seat, and be removed when just me and mommy goes camping (cause we sleep in the back.... I have been toying with a few ideas, but nothing catches my attention. anyone here done something along the lines?? Thanx in advance Benson
