No! The door-open switch is still working, to advise the lights are ON. I cut the wire coming from the microswitch inside the strating barrel. This microswitch activates the buzzer when the engine is OFF, the key is IN, and the door is open: quite pestiferous!

To Nige90: I solved the problem in se same way. Look at the picture: Highlighted with a red line the cable I cut. Thanks a lot for your help

Hi, I got a disco 300 few weeks ago. I find usefull the buzzer, for remembering the lights are on, but I unbear buzzer's sound when the door is open and the key is in place. How can I do to disable the buzzer, only when the door is open? I would like to maintain the lights alarm. Thanks in advance
