Nope they use AVCAT a aviation fuel blend used to be on all UK aircraft carriers for the ship & embarked aircraft, simply because it's safer than Avtur fuel, Avcat has a higher flashpoint.
We actually just burn diesel in the gas turbines

Hi
I've got an ABS booster block in the shed. Its the big lump that sits beside the ABS pump. Its from a '92 LSE. Let me know if its any good to you. You can have it for £50

Fisha
I've made an ally tank for my tomcat, if you can produce a drawing of what you are after i'll see what i can come up with. Mine is 3mm ally plate as its nice and strong and it's easier to weld 3mm stuff.
cheers

Hi Geoff
Sounds like your having fun. Another option is to take the box and engine out together, thats what i do. Put new mounts in while its all out.

Hi
A friend has bought a quantity of military 90 rear wings including the rear section and wheel arch. They have drillings for what looks like an ariel and for the tilt cleets. They are genuine land rover and are still in the original packaging. He has no interest in land rovers but thought he may be able to sell them on. What would these sell for in military circles. I think he has six but he didnt know what side they were for. The one i saw was a near side. He also said they had about 10 "rear wings with big square holes in them" i think these might be the lockers for gerry cans. He didn't but them because the wont fit in his van.
cheers

Hi
You could cut it straight with a cutting disc and then grind the curve in with a grinding disc. I use those flapper discs you get for the grinder, they are a bit more accurate than a grinding disc. just leave enough material on the end to ensure you can get the curve you want
