  1. Thanks for the heads up there. I'll get that box done then. Spike, I can assure you, your land rover is better than a new one!! I just wish i could buy a brand new '95 300 tdi!! The build quality is better!! If they built them the same as back then, they'd cost £40k minimum. Nige
  2. Hi all, me again. Having just got a brand new 90 Puma hard top, I thought I'd take this long weekend to give her a thorough session with Waxoyl. I rebuilt a '84 90 a few years ago, so i know where they rust/corrode, but do have one question to ask? If i remove the top door hinge bolt on the bulkhead, and spray thinned Waxoyl in the hole, will it go all over the back of the dash/footwell? i can't remember if it's all boxed in there or not? Obviously, I don't want to find out the hard way!!! Cheers Nige.
  3. Thanks Guys. It's funny you say that, as the dealers I spoke to before buying one all said the same, that the only real problem they see with the puma is the EGR. Trouble is, I expected to do a few miles before it packed in?? I've done 101 miles so far!!!! Cheers Nige
  4. Hi all, This is my first post on here, so would like to start by introducing myself. Obviously, my name is Nige, and I've just bought a new 90 hard top. I rebuilt an old '84 Defender a few years ago, and have regretted selling it for the last 2 1/2 years. Because of this, I decided to treat myself to a brand new 90 last week. Well, I made the decision in February, but waited till last week to pick her up. I have a small problem. There is a horrible flat spot around 2000rpm, which isn't there when the engine is cold?? The dealer , MJ Fews in Wotton under Edge, has agreed to look at it, but I was wondering if anyone on here might have any ideas?? Thanks in anticipation of some replies. Nige.
