I've just come across this product 'deox-C' and thought about making a bath with a view to putting the chassis in, on the basis that is should fill the chassis rails and do it's work on the inside as well as the outside. Has anyone tried the product before - is it any good. there is also a gel based product which seems to have had good reviews 'deox-gel'. its' a crystal based product that disolves in water, 5Kg makes 100 litres , then leave in soak for 24 hours. Thought if I could make a bath bigg enough to put the chassis in and all the other bits that need treating it would be a good way forward before galvanising.

I'm considering galvanising the chassis of my 1993 90. The chassis is in excellent and worth the effort. I've been quoted 50p per Kg, but have no idea how that is going to equate to cost, not knowing the weight of the chassis before and after. Any guidance on price or weights would be welcome so that I can make an informed decision to galvanise or paint with galvafroid and waxoyl.
