There's a bloke round this way with a black RR Classic with 31x10.5x15's on & it looks about right to me.

It's the one with the reservoir held on by screws. It's leaking from the forward reservoir mounting.

Would that be the metric or the imperial threaded item (cotter pin or screw retention of the reservoir)?
Can't find my receipt at this moment in time
Reservoir is held on by screws

I've just got round to fitting a pattern part dual line brake master cylinder (part no 569671) bought from Paddocks in July only to find it leaking badly. I just spoke to Paddock & they said there is a known problem with this part. They obviously don't feel it warrants a recall or even any action to warn customers of the problem so I thought I should post this in case anyone else has bought one of these recently.
Obviously my experience is only with the part bought from Paddock, but there is a chance that other dealers might be selling these parts from the same source.

Hi Don,
The early ones up to 1991 had a removeable alloy panel. Later ones had a welded in steel floor. With suitable strengtheners a piece of chequerplate would be fine, but you'd probably need more cross braces than the ribbed floor as the ribs give the floor some of its strength. I think I've got a decent ribbed alloy floor panel if you want one.

I'm now going to test Andy's shop on the way home . . . .wonder if he has oil pump gaskets in ....
Of course I do!!!! almost couldn't see em for looking though!
You may well mutter about having to fetch the engine out again for the sake of a £1 part, but my engine hoist looks forward to its trips in the horse trailer.
NEXT!

It's coming on really well. We're really proud of the new shop & everyone who has seen it seems to be impressed with it.

Exhaust manifold studs if you're splitting the manifolds from the exhaust, or new manifold gaskets if you're using the existing manifolds. If it's a manual gearbox how's the clutch look? Cluth release forks wear through as well. Easier to do them while the engine is out.

I'll get you a price if you PM me the details of your vehicle.

I always find that the top bellhousing bolts are easier to get at if you first suspend the engine & remove the engine mount rubbers, then drop the engine back down onto the chassis mounts.

Land rover sealed beamed headlights are about £5 from the parts shop so cheaper than buying just a bulb from halfrauds.
I don't suppose you'd have a name of a shop that can supply them for £5?!
I sell em for £6 if that's close enough for you.

Rest & Recuperation mate. You wouldn't want me to burn out under all that stress would you? I thought that was you asleep in the deck chair on the grass in the middle of the airfield all afternoon.

I think you'll find that all those other numbers are superceded by ANR1799.
