Hi Guys, can someone tell me is it possible to remove the heads and drop the sump with the engine in situ so that I can replace the liners? I have a slight o/heat problem so was going to remove heads, pressure test and refit but I think it may be a liner weeping so thought I would change liners and rings at the same time along with new water pump, the stat is new but she still starts o/heating on a long climb. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there, i have a freelander k series with a warped head, can anyone tell me if the 1.4/1.6 k series heads are the same as the 1.8, the valves appear identical and the whole thing looks the same, the numbers on the head match and the camshaft numbers match so i assume they are swappable, anybody confirm either way, it would be appreciated, cheers
