And that will bolt in the same place as the v8 one? I never had the tdi engine, this is the problem!

After fiting the 3.9 to the 90(was 200tdi) I have just connected the original temperature guage wire from the 90 to the v8 temperature sender, and the result is the guage reading too high! I have searched the forum but haven't come up with an answer, what do i need to do? Can i fit a tdi sensor? I dont have one to hand to compare! Or do i need a new guage? Cheeper the better!

Righti have found a green tune resistor on rimmer brothers for £13.60 delivered, i will do this for the time being as i am just trying to get it running. It is not planned to be used on the road for the near future so mot is not a major issue, can always swap back to standard tune resistor, cats and sensors at a later date. The truck is a 'K' reg and eninge is 95, so it will need them for mot at a later date. Cheers for the help!

So where can I get the tune resistor that I would need to run without sensors? How much do they cost? Is there any negative effects in doing this?

What is this about tune resistor? Not something I've come across? I was just going to fit downpipes without cats in and fit the sensors. The sensors are before the cats anyway aren't they, so it shouldn't matter if you have the sensors without the cats?

Anybody know the thread size an pitch for an oxygen/lambda sensor for a series 1 disco 3.9 V8? I need to buy some boss's so i can mount the sensors in my exhaust in my 90.

Cool, cheers! I guess i dont need to connect any of these to get it running then? As far as i know the engine has come from a 95 disco.

The last one with the round white plug has a black/green and a black, the first one has a grey/white and a yellow/purple.

Am in the process of fitting a 3.9 v8 in a 90, and have a couple of wires that i cant work out what to do with! Can anyone identify them? This one i am presuming just needs earthing??: This one i have no idea: Thanks in advance!
