  1. sorry also to be the bearer of bad news, but sounds like a head issue to me also. keep an eye on the temp gauge, shut the blowers off and see if it raises . if it does put blowers on straight away, to lower temp and pull over. if your loosing water out of the header its pressurizing . get it looked at immediately and you may be lucky and save the head. i had exactly the same thing a fortnight ago, checked combustion on glow plugs and all o.k , also a leak test done on header for combustion gases and all o.k. changed several bits before only the head was left , but turned out to be cracked, new head fitted to rectify problem hope you have better luck
  2. my gauge showed 1/4 tank when emptied , so sender changed and still have the same problem. i have renewed the connections to the sender, and it rises when arm moved, but when dropped still only goes down to 1/4 tank. Anybody got an idea how to sort it. Rob
  3. Just to update any interested parties , i have fitted the Puma 90 TDCI REAR propshaft to my 300tdi 90 today, and the vibration has vanished. Would highly recommend this to anyone who has suffered minor vibration like myself. Rob
  4. Thanks Stuart, will try props to get rid of the dreaded vibration on lifted defenders.
  5. so a rear will fit on a 90 also ? is it correct the yokes are wider so it helps with binding on a lifted vehicle. Rob
  6. i was told a tdci propshaft would fit onto a 300tdi , and that they are stronger than the standard 300tdi prop. does anybody no this to be correct on both counts ?
