  1. The Problem, Press the clutch down, change gear - no problem. Then start to lift foot up on clutch and the pedal comes up but the hydraulics lag behind by seconds - so it jumps into gear or stalls. The vehicle 1966, Series 2, LWB military spec. 4 cyl petrol. Not run all winter, kept in a corrugated shed. The problem appeared over the winter when it wasn't used at all (because it wouldn't start think that was a damp problem). So far Oiled the clutch pedal, tried to spot moving parts under the bonnet and under the vehicle but not seen any. The lid is rusted on the hydraulic fluid reservoir.
