  1. we have had a bosh 4.5 grinder 110v for the last 15 16 years its done every thing from chopping bolts cutting roofsheets grinding out chases in walls its even removed pointing from detched brick house with out a miss hap. now on look out for a dewalt cordless 4.5 grinder.

    buy best you can works out cheaper in the end. watch out for those offers were you buy X amounts of disc get free grinder. disc are carp grinders wont last 2 mins.

  2. a prefab garage would be cheaper then a block built one. they can make them any lenth and width. if you want to lift anything just build some some hollow block pillers fill with concrete top of with a flag pop rsj on and fasten in place. main thing is the garage base wants to be 6in deep with some steel in.

    some time garage firms have drawings you can give to the planners.

    best thing to do is cut some grooves in it were puddling apply a genorus coat of pva glue neat our dilute it a bit. then get some bags 25kg ones.

    river sand

    grano dust

    cement.

    mix it 2 bags sand 2 bags grano 1 cement and 1/2L pva

    spread out on floor with steel float feather out edges with wetish mix. let set for 2hrs then remove any trowel/float marks.

    it drys rock hard.

    jobs a good en.

  4. i had similair thing with mine but was leacking inbetween were the nut joins the cooler and were the fins start. as temp measure i cut some rad hose to about 3/4in 18mm wide then jublie cliped it up. lasted a couple of weeks. i could not find a good 2nd hand one so useing a ford scorpion cooler with pipes made up by plant fitter.

    its working a treet fingers crossed,touch woood. :rolleyes:

  5. thanks i have heared of megasquirt system be for. read some where they drilled hole in dizzy top then fitted pipe to it connected to a pump so it presurerised it to stop water from entring.

    would it help if i did away with the standard fan and put an eletric fan in its place so i could turn it on & off when entring water ?. :rolleyes:

  6. hello whats the cheapest and simplest way to water proof my 78 v8 rrc put new leads on new dizzy cap going to put new coil in tupperware box in engine bay or could i move it inside if so what will i need.
