Thanks, that gives me a few things to try. No smell of diesel. Engine replaced about 40k miles ago, so injectors probably ok (but one for the check list). Thinking I will check wiring first, had dash console out a couple of months ago to change instrument light bulbs over to LEDs (was fed up with no being able to see the instruments in the dark!!). Maybe I dislodged something when I put it all back together.

I have 200Tdi CSW 110, which has been reliable for a long time (too good to last), but just recently it has developed an intermittent starting problem. You turn the key, it fires and then stalls. This can sometimes happen several times and then it will start up and run perfectly. So really puzzled as to what could be causing the problem and would really appreciate some advice. Thanks
