I wonder if you kind people can help me with my dilema. I have a 1994 ex military 2.4 diesel 110 ffr defender,I have always thought that I had a LT 77 gear box,but looking at some of the posts the reverse on a lt77 is up and to the left next to first gear.Now mine is down and to the right of opposite 5th gear so looking at other posts would this be the R380 Gear box?? with a LT230t Transfer box. now I want to change the gear and transfer box oil. looking at this chart http://www.dingocroft.co.uk/Rec_lubes_Def.htm it says to use atf dexron IID orATF Dexron 2.would this be correct? Been looking at the forum since April so Ithough it's time to say Hello and introduce myself. MY name is Den I'm 51 years of age,and I live in sunny Hadleigh in Essex I enjoy rough shooting mainly pigeon and do a bit of sea fishing now and again . I have a series iii Airportable which has been an on going project for years (might get round to finishing it one day). And a 1994 ex military 110 ffr defender with a truck cab on which I will convert back to a full tilt when we get the good weather. Thats about it for now. atb Den
