still not realy getting anywhere. just checked power feeds on 40 pin connector with chip removed as per instructions on msextra build guide. all seems good but still no led's and unable to load firmware. could really do with some help.

Just found i hadnt soldered in u5. Now solered but still no power and unable to load firmware. Any help would be great.

Hi Guys, Hope someone can help. I have a genuine B&G MS1 V3 kit and have tried to build it up following the build instructions in the megamanual for EDIS All seemed fine, I powered it up with a stim, and it allowed me to load the firmware, all the guages worked on Megatune, and everything seemed fine. I then popped the MSQ into it and all was fine. I put it on one side and carried on with other things. When I next connected it up I had nothing, tried rebooting firmware, and then I only had RPM working, then as soon as I turned it off and back on not even that - nothing ! I have checked and have power at U5, but can't seem to get MS to allow me to load firmware or anything, won't connect to Megatune, seems dead Any ideas what I may have done or more helpfull what I should check ? Help Charlie
