  1. It isn't a myth but affects the same wheel and tyre and tube combination in different ways on different vehicles, must be down to variables like driving style I guess.

Cheap tubes are often not too good, Michelins are good, and removing ALL labels from the inside of the tyre is a must.

I have to say I wouldn't do it because it loses one of the main benefits of tubeless which is slow deflation if you get a nail in the tyre at speed on the road, but that is just my 2p. I have never had problems with losing pressure due to mud in the bead of tubeless tyres though, some say it is a problem on BFGs but not for me.

No problem in over 4 years. Just the one puncture.

  2. Can anyone tell me a part # for a temp sender that will fit a V8 EFi and a Defender style 52mm gauge that will work properly with it? Or am I better off just buying an aftermarket one - in which case does anyone have any recommendations that aren't mega-money?

Oh and no I don't want capillary gauges.

I have got a brand new sender that I was given. I was told that it is from a V8 military snatch Land Rover. So I guess a carb version?

No part number on it except the B constant (B730)

I am curious though. Why no capillary gauges?

    Regards,

    Paul.

  3. Hello,

I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting in the right place. I am thinking of using Megajolt on an EDIS set up. The dizzy is the weak link when it comes to water!

I have a 3.5efi and the flapper AFM. Has anyone done the same? Looking at it, I will need a signal to drive pin one of the ECU (RPM). Will the tacho out on Megajolt do the job? Anything else I should know on the set up?

    Regards,

    Paul.
