Sorry after my initial frustration and panic I found that the inertia switch had tripped. Reset it and all is now well. Not something I would have expected to happen though.

After carrying out some work that required the battery to be disconnected my enging now won't fire up. The alarm / Imobaliser seems to dissarm when the unlock button is pushed on the key fob, and all seems fine until the key is turned to the second position on the ignition. Then the hazards start flashing and the engine will only 'turn over' but not start. Anyone have any ideas on this please?
