  1. 3 is the white black wire that is bin cut and leads to nowere. the most left cirle you made, is a wire that is coming out of a loom that has wires to the altenator and oil sensor and woilwarning light on the dash. I'm going to take the car to a garage, because i'm fed up with trying to this solve problem, because i got lots of other stuf to fix.
  2. The whole efi wiring has nothing to do with the lpg, because on lpg, the whole wiring from the efi doesn't do anything, and could be removed, while the engine would stil run. I'm confused about the whole wiring from the coil, amplifiër and distributor, because that's al different than the original drawing from the pdf file. In my drawing you can see that there's a red and blue wire coming out of the side from the amplifiër, and is direct hooked up to the 2 wires from the distributor, while in the original drawing those lead to nowere, because they don't even mention them. I also made a mistake at wire 8 from the fuel switch off relays, because it's not there.
  3. Hi to you all, i'm Peter from Holland europe, so forgive me my bad english. I have 86'3.5 efi, and it has lpg in it. the car runs fine on lpg, but it doesn't run on petrol, so here i am, no experience at all, because it's my first RR ever, so i did alot of searching and reading, but i got stuck on the next problem(s). Like i said, it doesn't start on petrol, and the first thing i noticed, is that as soon i switch to petol, the full pump is on, and never stops, not even when ipull all the relais out of their sockets, so i still have to figure out how they bypass that, but there's alot of spaghetti wires under the steering collum, so i deal with that later, because the pump is working, so why doesn't the car run i'm thinking? so i started to check the fuel pressure regulator, and i did that by take it out and blow some air trough it with a compressor, and i didn't read how much pressure it took ,but it seemed to me that it must have bin somewere between 2,5 an 3 bar, so that thing works fine, and i can hear the fuel flow back in the tank all the time, so i gues it works at it should be. The next thing i checked is the vacuum switch with is located under de pressure regulator, and that one also work fine, so no problem. ( the vacuum switch is hooked up to the overrun fuel shut off relais) So i did some more web searching and found this pdf file witch tels you step by step how the check the whole efi cirquit and ecu See this link, and then scroll down to the second pdf file. http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=16466 So i did test 1,2,3,4 and they were al fine, but then i got stuck at test 5, because it confuses me because it says that i should hook up a jump lead between the ground on the coil and the other end on the white/blue AND the white/black lucar connector adjacent to the coil. ??? Hook it up to 2 wires??? . And there's more, because things are realy different under my bonnet than the pdf shows, so i made a picture and a drawing how things are wired in my car, so that you can compare it. The upper drawing is from the pdf file, the lower one is how wires run under my bonnit. All numbers can be found in both drawings, so that you can see where things go wrong. Number 1 in the upper drawing points at the white/black wire, witch is green in the drawing because else it was a bit hard to see without coloring it out, and it comes from the amplifier and is mounted on the negative side on the coil, and coresponds with the lower drawing. Number 2 is only to be seen in the lower drawing, because there's a white wire coming from the amplifier that goes to the + side of the coil, witch is not mentioned or to see in the upper drawing. Number 3 in the upper drawing is a white/black wire that seems to lead to the distributor, but not under my bonnit, because mine has bin cut off. Number 4 are the red and blue wires that goes straight into the distributor on the lower drawing, while in the upper drawing the white/black wireseems to be connected with the distributor, and the red and blue wire are not even mentioned. Number 5, there's no number 5, because i fought i already used 5, so let's go on the the next one. Number 6 is correct in both drawings Number 7 the same Number 8 ??? hell, how could i have missed that one? Number 9 in the lower drawing i mentioned black/white, but it's a white/black wire. Number 10 is white blue wire that leads from the + on the coil to the switch relais, but not on the upper drawing, because there it goes between the white/black wire and distributor. So can anyone help me with this mess?
