  1. New cross member was fitted about 4 months ago, probably why there is so little damage.
  2. Desperately looking for some info on the actual market value of son's vehicle :- 110 Safari, 12 seats 1985 'B' plate. accident caused by third party and insurers want to write off as uneconomic to repair, need info to deal with them to save scrapping this much loved vehicle . vehicle is totally road worthy. bent rear cross member, RH corner and slight panel damage , repair estimate about £2,800 .
  3. since floor is not load bearing and structural, stuck mine in with sikkaflex and stainless self tappers, no problems, no drumming, left out the crappy cross bits too . Sealt belts are anchored through the floor not to it , worst bit was getting these off and replacing Nylocs. plenty of Waxoyl sprayed on and no MoT problem for 3 years now.
