Hi Tonk I beleive you have written the book on Series III petrol/TD conversion - that's what I was told on the LR Enthusiast forum - can you give me the benefit of you're experience on everything I have to do. Hope this doesn't put you out to much. Thanks in anticipation. Murdo.

Not yet, we have a petrol series III that we want to put a 2.5 TD into. How difficult a job is it and what do we have to modify/need. Anything you can tell me that will help us before we get started. Murdo.

It's a straight Turbo Deisel, not a TDI - where do I find the catflap posts in the members forum, I'm new to this site.

Can anyone give me some information/help on how easy it is to put a TD into a petrol Series III. Is it a straight forward or awkward job - where does the likes of the intercooler go, etc. Murdo DA
