  1. Hmm, that is a pity. So, I could 4wd in high gear only then? No, unfortunately the original rear axle with Limited slip is not there anymore.
  2. I guess it has been changed to a standard series front axle. Indeed I know it cannot be in constant 4WD. Only in terrain snow, I will handle the yellow know...
  3. Hi, I recently bought a series 3, 2,25 petrol 1975. Originally with 2 WD. The previous owner start changing it to 4WD by changing the front axle. Now I bought a 4WD gearbox but I only want to add the front output housing to my original gearbox and transfer box as I know it runs well. For 4wd onlt that seems to be no problem but while removing it I noticed that the low/high gear goes into the transferbox and moves a fork. Now, my question is: Do I just add the fork to the original transferbox and add the front output housing etc. or do I need to add more things into the transferbox? Thanks, Hans (from the Netherlands)
