Hi there i'm newbie,
I have a 1994 L reg 3.9 v8i Discovery (automatic) 3 door
I was just wondering if anyone could help me with a few queries I have with my discovery.
Recently I have noticed that I am getting puddles of water on the parcel shelf in the boot, I cannot figure where it is coming from, all of the roof is dry and has no signs of drips, also the drivers side flooring is sodden with water, after pulling up the carpet we discovered that the rubber/sponge mat was soaked right through, I am currently drying it out.
Again we really can't figure out where this water is coming in from, the only place I could possibly think it is coming in from is the door seal, it is a little worn so maybe it is geting in there.
I had thought about either spraying the seals with silicone spray or buying new seals. Any input would be helpful.
Also my steering makes a very horrible noise when the engine is warm, it sounds like a ships horn when you turn either left or right, somebody has said it may be that the steering box nut is loose, could this be true? The power steering fluid is full and has been bled to remove any air locks, again any advice would be grateful.
