Sorry, its a 1983 RRC Bobtailed

Weird fault. Heard a constant clicking/relay switching whilst engine running. investigation to date, All bulbs working Only does it when engine running Don't do it with ignition on, but not started stops when indicating/ hazards on. Replaced Flasher unit same problem. Checked Stalk, operation, cleaned.also plugged in new spare, no difference. Noted the unit clicking is an add on Trailer lighting unit. But as it's Bobtail no Trailer socket, no signs of chopped wiring. The original (2 pin) flasher unit is still in situ (wired) but don't seem to work. Where to start Should the original 2 pin still operate, if so New one needed. quick fix Those in the know will say Earthing, but where to start. any offers of advice

Hi All New to forum, does not seem to be an Intro page, so having a Rangie Bobtail thought where better to start Me ickle toy is a 1984 3.5 V8 Bobtail Acquired it very beaten up and non running, a little tlc and it's enjoying Pay n Play days. Posted in Member Vehicle Forum, but the post seems to have gone Awol. maybe needs to be moderator approved, hopefully will appear soon. Some of the TLC involved Ignition, clutch, trans brake, rear suspension, CV's, carb overhaul and some minor wiring
