Hi thanks for the input about what could be wrong with the lights but it was none of the things mentioned it was the lighting blocks which ahd been wired the wrong way round earth was main beam and main beam was the earth . thanks for the help Richard

Hi I need Help badly!!!!!. I own doris8 a 1980 ex military 109 12 volt. just been for a mot and she has failed on her lights, problem is that when I switch the lights on, the blue high beam indicator on the dash glows dimley and when I switch from dip to main beam the dim stays on so I do not get a correct light pattern hence the fail I have checked all the wires but the only thing I have found is that if I plug my fogs into the main beam and switch on the blue light goes out but the fogs glow dimly its a bodge but I dont thing it will pass an mot . If there is anyone that can help please do tell. Many thanks Richard
