Hi Have just bought a canvas soft top for a military Land Rover to convert to fit my Auverland as I cant found a genuine one anywhere. Anyway I have heard of someone converting a landrover one, problem is I has ended up with a LWB canvas and I need a swb one. does anyone know where I might get one for an Auverland ?. What is not allowed? Do you mean S/F seats are not allowed anymore. Sureley not the nanny state couldnt have gone that far ,could they??

Ok its my day for questions I guess. Does anyone know what the law is with regard to seat belts on sidewards facing seats. I remember you never used to need them. ATB Mike

Does anyone know if there is any adjustment on the LR gemma power steering box. Its a six bolt. Have just replaced one but steering is still a bit unreliable it seems that its a bit sticky. Cant find any manuals so one for the experts Is there any adj. and what effect should it have? Does it need bleeding? ATB Mike

Ok chaps who ever is the expert can you help? I have blown the steering box (6 bolt LR gemma) and most say its a weak point as even LR ditched it quite quickly. So is there an easy conversion to say for instance a 4bolt box . I guess also it would depend on the drop arm and whether it is a LR item. Or does anyone know where I can get a replacement 6 bolt at reasonable cost. Also the speedo doesnt work and I believe it is an electronic Peugeot item but I am not sure where there sender is and what it is if it needs replacing. And finally (for now) there is a lot of vibration coming through the body when driving and also when stationary. Feels like a mount has gone but I can only find one engine mount and that seems to be intact although I have not tried lifting engine to see if its worn. Thanks chaps whoever you are ATB Mike

Hi I have just bought an Auverland A3 (sad I know or maybe not) Any seems to be a bit of a rare beast so I am looking for anyone with any info on them. IE, what parts they use from other manufacturers any upgrades or mods worth doing. I am also looking for a manual and any spares,even a complete breaker would be good. Would appreciate any help and/or advice. ATB Mike
