Hi guy thxs for the feedback bit of an update on whats going on the guy that did the first diagnostic checks used a snap on machine and that code is something for that machine today i had a diagnostics machine plugged in that land rover use and this is what it said engine management light fault no codes reset it and stayed off came on soon as restarted engine same as before the guy spoke to the people that make the machine and they said its a software fault on the early td4s so i got to get it flashed with new software i will be getting the job done week after next i will let you know how i get on. daz

Hi about a week ago my td4 broke down had a fault diagnostics test said it was the intank fuel pump so i changed that now its running again but now the engine management light is on and the error code is p1612 soon as it gets reset it goes out but soon as i start the engine its back on again i cant seem to find out what the code is all as i can find is P1612 SBDS Interactive Codes dont mean anything to me thx. daz
