I would like the measurement from the centre of gearbox xmember bolt (the one nearest engine) to the centre of the engine mount hole please, thanks. Guest diesel_jim Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 A handly little post by Mr Wuffles although it only covers Tdi and Td5 here's a pic of some V8 mounts on a chassis i've got. they're in the factory position, so you can see where they need to go.... one edge lines up with the reinforcing but of the front spring mount....
