landrover598
Is there an easy way to see how far out the castor angle is on a landy front axle? Should the spring cup be level? As i'm making new front links, i can get it set as close to correct as possible. Tar muchly in advance.
clbarclay
Could you make the new links adjustable? I don't have a standard LR to measure though I expect a good measurement would be the height differeance between the center line of the axle and the pinion input shaft from the ground. I have nothing in the driveway to check at this time, but if your suspension is higher than standard you should increase thecastor angle by around one degree for every inch above standard. Standard is 3 degrees, measured at the swivel pin interface on the swivel housing relative to the body/chassis horizontal. Bill.
