henry-john
Hellow, I wonder if this is possible. I'm having trouble at home since my mother can't drive the defender since it isn't an automatic. I recently bought one of the latest RRC 3,9 V8 in automatic. Some peopla already told me this would work. BUT since I don't have any experience whatsoever Please help me, every bit helps! yellow
Depending on where you are, you'll might get issues regarding MOT or similar. You are going from Euro3 to 'Euro?' by fitting that engine. Why not sell the 3.9 and fit an autobox behind the TD5?
Guest noggy
yellow, i think thats what he means, fit the autobox behind the TD5. im not sure about this, as i have no knowledge of TD5's (damns parents wont let me get under there bonnet ) but would the bell housings be the right length? and plus the whole thing with changing the peddals and removing the clutch. if you have no knowledge of land rovers, dare i say you should sell the 90 and buy a automatic for your mum
