uazvet
Ben the offroad community here in russia are among the few that actually do care about the environment, along with the hunters, fishermen, foresters, etc. we keep the tracks more or less useable throughout the whole year, and in the depth of winter those distinguishable rutted tracks are a godsend, believe me! Luckly we are not accursed by the anorak brigade, and even if they did kick up a fuss, we'd simply shoot them And anyway, this country is HUGE, plenty of places to play - the so called 'environmentalists' will NEVER shut us down. disco2hse
Hi Alexander, You guys have some great places for off-roading. You are very lucky. The landscapes look fantastic and very wild. The run looks like it was a great success and a very interesting place to be driving through. Parts of Russia do indeed have a tortured history and it is important to take the opportunity to remember those who sacrificed so much, and regardless of where they came from. Thank you for the report. I enjoyed reading it very much. Cheers Alan
