doshkhan Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 hi, im a proud owner of 1988 range rover. its a beautiful car but several months ago i parked the car at my brothers shop as i have another car to run around with. what happen was without me knowing rats has came in the car and made it their home and when i want to start it it wont crank, so i called a mechanic to trouble shoot the problem... to my suprise they (the rats) has disconected most of the wiring components.. i managed to get the mechanic to re do the wiring but as he try to start it will only idle for not less then 10 seconds.. now he says he needs the wiring diagram for the computer box.... pls help.. Check that the lead from the coil to the ECU is not open cct or severed. If the ecu thinks the engine is not firing then it will turn off the petrol!
