uazvet Posted May 7, 2008 Share Posted May 7, 2008 the russian highway law changed recently (2months ago), anyone caught crossing single white line faces licence revokation, for foreigners this means either a) upto 3 hr wait in some grotty gai (traffic police post) or b)big bung, going rate 100usd+ a pop. practically 80% of the highways are zoned for no overtaking, and often there is NO white paint on the tarmac, you've been warned.
