rhydgte
Hi guys sorry for yet another thread relating to dash lights - this time the lack of one! Engaged diff lock in low and high range and no light comes on the dash, bulb is fine (have changed it for a new one) Is there wiring anywhere that might be loose or have come unconnected? Any easy ways of checking diff lock is working properly with it on the drive? Cheers for your help once again
russ3120
if memory serves, there is a switch on top of the transfer box, you need to remove the centre console to get to it though where abouts in mid wales?

Skanny
Jack ONE wheel up and try and turn it with diff lock NOT engaged, it should turn. Then engage diff lock and it should NOT turn. There is a switch on the box that turns the light on, check the wiring on it. Also make sure no one has forced the lever and bent the linkage thus not allowing it to select difflock or not. You NEED that light to work so you dont go off flat out on the motorway in diff lock = BANG!
